Good location, next door to Giovanella Kunstglaserei. Also, close to Saanen train station. Exceptionally comfortable bed, clean bathroom and a flat-screen TV with cable channels, central heating, and an individual safe in the room.

Not very friendly staff!

I asked for king room with mountain view and newly renovated fresh bathrooms, as for instance, had a relaxing stay. The food was reasonably priced, drinks were hot...

Great central location! We stayed for one night and really enjoyed the district. We booked a king room and had access to a convenient wake-up service. 🌟

The breakfast was exceptional, the rooms were good and well equiped.

So king-size beds available, only twins. The type of the hotel was old-fashioned, which makes it difficult to attact younger generations of people, that is possibly for us the biggest drawback.

Traffic noise was a problem, although a bypass is due in August 2010, which should alleviate this.

Great food at the restaurant, but the waiting staff were not good at their job, which spoilt the overall evening.

Hotel Landhaus in Saanen offered us a memorable family experience with its wide array of tourist activities. From skiing to hiking, there was something for everyone in the family to enjoy. The inn also had a sun terrace and a ski school, which added to the overall charm of the hotel.

My children wanted a dedicated play area for kids.

Breakfast good. Bathroom nice (in our room). Quiet on top floor.

Parking tight if one gets one that is. Beds and pillows too soft. Foyer too small. Had to ask for facecloths and glasses - no fridge either. Price to high for lack of extras.

Besides the hotel being charming and clean, the location was the key. Being in Saanen the town is charming and has everything one needs but more importantly its a short walk to station for older kids to be able to accomodate themselves.

For a few days its charming it serves as place to stay. Although sister hotel has pool and gym its not convenient to get in shuttle in cold weather. However, it is nice that there is an option.
